Leftover turkey from Xmas was used in these deep puff pastry tarts - each tart was filled with a layer of cream cheese, then chopped leftover cooked turkey, then some with cranberry sauce and others with caramelised onion. Good hot or cold, they were yum! 🎄
INGREDIENTS:
Shop-bought Puff Pastry
Some Cream Cheese
Leftover cooked Roast Turkey, chopped into small pieces
Some Cranberry Sauce
Some Caramelised Onions (from jar)
METHOD:
1. Unroll pastry sheet and cut into 12 squares
2. Arrange into a greased 12-muffin tin, pressing down into into the holes gently
3. Smear a good blob of cream cheese at the bottom of each one
4. Drop a good spoonful of turkey into each one
5. Top with a spoonful of the your topping of choice
6. Fold over the corners a little, so some of the pointed corners are touching.
7. Cook in oven at about 190c (fan) for 20-25 mins or so. Let them then firm up a little in the tine before digging them out. Serve them up with more cranberry sauce and caramelised
onion sauce.
